Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

All the symptoms you have mentioned suggest a possibility of acute sinusitis precipitated by allergic rhinitis.
I suggest you to consult a general practitioner and get the following things done:-
1.Start a short course of antibiotics like amoxicillin for five to seven days.
2.Antihistamines like levocetrezine would provide symptomatic relief.
3.nasal decongestants like xylometazoline can be used for blocked nostrils.
4.Acetaminophen can be taken in case of fever.
5.Do nasal irrigation with saline nasal drops and do steam inhalation.
If he has repeated attacks an ENT evaluation may be needed to look for condition like DNS(deviated nasal septum) and polyps. HE might also require long term antiallergic drugs in case of recurrent symptoms.

Following preventive measures can also be tried:-
1.Quit smoking, Avoid smoke and dust.
2.Use a humidifier in your indoors.
3.Use micro pore mask in his workplace.
4.Do frequent steam inhalation to open up the sinuses.

Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Dr.Shinas Hussain
